Myofascial Cupping

Most people know that this ancient practice has been in use in China for thousands of years but it has also been used in Europe for centuries to treat many ailments. It is commonly used today to treat muscular aches and pains. Myofascial Cupping acts on the muscle by pulling on it, similar to deep massage. It will help draw out waste products and toxins in the muscles to the surface ready for the body to eliminate. As a result of this waste movement cupping can result in light to dark purple circles or tracks on the site of application. These generally fade quickly. Myofascial Cupping can be used in conjunction with massage or alone in a treatment session.
